Explore flavors from around the world while cooking recipes using produce from our school gardens and orchards. Each day we will cook a new recipe from a different country, learning about how spices and flavors change and enhance the ingredients. We will also make some art and crafts inspired by our travels. Topics covered will include knife skills, kitchen and food safety and cleanliness, measurement, how to read a recipe, and international cooking techniques. All recipes prepared will be vegetarian or have a vegetarian option. Gluten free and vegan are possible with advanced notice. June 19th (No Camp)
