About This Activity
Chess Club – Intermediate Ready to take your chess game to the next level? This class is designed for students who already know the rules of chess and are ready to develop stronger strategies and tactics. Students will explore opening principles, tactical patterns, positional play, checkmate strategies, and chess problem-solving. Players will also have opportunities to practice tournament-style games and learn how to think ahead and make stronger decisions over the board. Suggested age: Upper Elementary Prerequisite: Students should be comfortable with the rules and basic gameplay of chess.
