Description
Aqua Yoga is exactly what it sounds like - yoga in the water! Yoga helps to improve bodily awareness, coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. In this class, there will be a strong emphasis on increasing respiratory function (which increases endurance) and strengthening the core muscles. These benefits stay with you outside of the pool as well. Practicing in the water makes yoga more accessible, since the effects of gravity are significantly lessened. If you've been interested in yoga but nervous to try, or if you just love aqua fitness, this would be a great class for you! Aqua yoga is easily adaptable for every type of body and every age.Location
