Grade 11 Math Bridge: 6 weeks (Grade 11 only) Southpointe Students only Instructor: Brandon Smith 6 Week, virtual course 22 June - 31 July 4 Hours/Week (1hr Async, 3hrs Sync) + 2hr Optional Office Hours This 6-week, self-paced deep dive gives students the space to solidify their understanding and build confidence, ensuring they feel fully prepared for the rigor of Grade 11 Functions and Pre-Calculus. We focus on the "Big Three" pillars that define the 11th-grade experience: Advanced Quadratics, Rational Expressions, and Circular Trigonometry. The Three Pillars of Study. 1. Quadratic Mastery: Moving beyond basic solving to advanced vertex-form transformations and complex real-world optimization. 2. Algebraic Rigor (Rationals): Developing the "heavy-lifting" skills required to manipulate, simplify, and solve complex fractional expressions. 3. The Trigonometric Pivot: Shifting from "Right Triangle Trig" to the Unit Circle, introduces radians and periodic motion. Southpointe Students only 4 Hours/Week (1hr Async, 3hrs Sync) + 2hr Optional Office Hours Login information will be provided by Mr. Smith before the course starts in June.
