Castles, Catapults, & Creativity: Medieval Engineering Camp (3-5) Instructor: Andrew Bustamante Week 4 27-31 July Full Day (9AM - 4PM) Castles, Catapults, and Creativity is a hands-on, creativity-driven summer camp designed for children in Grades 3-5. Over the week, campers become medieval engineers as they design, build, test, and showcase castles and simple catapult systems using everyday materials. The camp blends imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving, culminating in a celebratory Siege Day where campers safely test their creations and celebrate their learning. This camp will also explore society in medieval times, exploring the lives of royalty, knights and craftspeople through stories and games. Designed to encourage creativity and imagination, develop basic engineering and design thinking, promote collaboration and communication, and build confidence through hands-on creation, the excitement and learning will launch great memories!
