Join Outdoor Recreation staff for an introduction to astronomy at Echo Lake! Participants will learn about and observe constellations, planets, and other features of Colorado’s spring night sky. Weather permitting, we’ll use telescopes for live viewing, and if clouds roll in, constellations will be projected inside the shelter. Heaters and hot cocoa will keep everyone warm between sky viewings. All equipment, instruction, and transportation are provided. Each participant must register individually; youth under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.Age Category
