What’s that tree? Join Outdoor Recreation staff for a short hike at Newton Mountain Park to explore the variety of trees that make up Colorado’s diverse flora. Participants will learn how to identify different tree species and discover their unique adaptations and roles within the ecosystem. Heaters and hot cocoa will help keep everyone warm throughout the program. All equipment, instruction, and transportation are provided. Each participant must register individually; youth under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.Age Category
