Teens ages 13–17 learn to use the weight room safely and effectively. This 2-hour course, led by a Certified Personal Trainer, provides hands-on experience in fundamental movements and gym etiquette. To pass, students must demonstrate a coachable attitude, responsible gym behavior, and competency in basic lifting form.Ages 13–14: Passing this course is required to access to DPR weight room and cardio equipment.Ages 15-17: Highly recommended for those new to lifting to build a safe foundation.Students are still required to have a valid membership for entry.Age Category
