The age calculation date for the 2026 spring team sports season is April 19, 2026. Please register your child based on their age as of April 19, 2026. Contact your Recreation Center with any questions.This instructional team/league is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the game, including: running, passing, catching, and defense. Skill development will be stressed throughout the season and participants will have a basic understanding of rules, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This 5-week season will consist of 1 week of 2 practices, followed by 1 practice and 1 instructional game (coaches on field and officiating) per week. Practice days and times are determined by Recreation Centers. Games will be played Friday evenings, typically between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Game times and locations vary. Game schedules will be available during the season at www.denveryouthsports.org.
Holiday Conflicts: César Chávez Day typically occurs during the Spring season. No games will be scheduled on this holiday. Practices scheduled on César Chávez Day may be rescheduled at the Coach/Recreation Center's discretion.
