Description
Join our beginner-friendly archery and orienteering program at Newton Mountain Park. Practice essential archery skills such as safety, equipment handling, and shooting techniques in a supportive environment. In addition, learn essential navigation skills using a map and compass, and then apply them on a plotted course through the park. Equipment, instruction, and transportation provided. MY Denver participants only; must register in-person at host center.CANCELLATIONS: If Outdoor Recreation cancels the trip due to inclement weather, lack of participants, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the participants will receive a full REFUND.
REFUNDS: 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels the registration 15 days in advance, a full REFUND will be given. LESS THAN 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels registration less than 15 days in advance, NO CREDIT OR REFUND will be given.
APPEAL: If a participant experiences a serious illness or loss that prevents their attendance that requires special consideration, an appeal can be submitted to the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation for review.
