Level 1 - Beginner Tennis - Designed for the student with little or no prior tennis experience. An introduction to basic tennis techniques and fundamentals (ground strokes, volley, and serve) are demonstrated and re-enforced with games and drills. Instructors focus on building the foundation and cultivating a love of the game. Participants become familiar with the tennis court and improve hand-eye coordination, agility, movement, and racquet-handling skills. Good sportsmanship is re-iterated. Learn and play format: Red balls 36' court, Orange balls and 60' court.-All participants, please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic shoes for tennis activity.
-Sunscreen, caps and visors are recommended to protect against sun exposure.
-Participants must meet the age category on first date of activity or before last date of activity.
