This activity is closed to further registration.
The HWE Choir Club is for the 5th grade student who would like to try singing in a choir! The choir will rehearse weekly after school and will learn songs and singing technique. The class will culminate in a concert with the 6th Grade choir on Thursday, May 23, 2024 as well as optional singing opportunities at a Lansing Lugnuts game and the DeWitt Community Showcase.
Class instructors are Brooke Broughton, Herbison Woods Music Teacher and Caitlin McDougal-Schippers, DeWitt Middle School Choir Teacher.
A t-shirt to wear to the concert is included with the registration.
The club will start after spring break on Thursday, April 4 in the HWE music room from 3:35-4:30 pm.
**Parent pick up will be in the FRONT LOOP at 4:40 pm**
**Optional events:
**National Anthem performance at the Lansing Lugnuts game on Saturday, May 18, 2024. This event will also require a ticket to the game. which must be purchased separately closer to the event. More information to follow at a later date.
**Concert performance at the DeWitt Community Showcase on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, time TBA.
