About This Activity
Kivunim (directions) is a programme for years 7 & 8. It will bring you and other young people together from our small and medium sized UK Reform Communities as you go through your B'nei Mitzvah preparation process and beyond. On Kivunim, you will experience 4 amazing residential weekends full of adventure and kef (fun) as well as events to be held locally in your community over two years. Kivunim weekends will give you opportunities to challenge yourself through outdoor adventure activities such as climbing, orienteering, archery and zipwire. You will discover new things about yourself, the world around you, Reform Judaism, and social action in ways you never would have dreamed of! You will also have personalised year-round challenges and activities designed by you to work on over the course of the 2-year programme. The programme ends with a bang when the whole group of year 8 finishers go on a trip to a theme park together.
