About This Activity
*Due to varying school release times, drop-off is flexible starting at 3:30 PM. Students will have free creative time until the full class begins. Please try to arrive no later than 4:15* NO class November 26. If you need free art van pickup from DES or RUES, please select that session option when registering. In Painting Explorers, students will discover just how many ways there are to paint! Each week, we’ll dive into a new type of paint—like watercolor, tempera, acrylic, and even mixed-media painting—experimenting with different tools, surfaces, and techniques. From bold brushstrokes to delicate washes, kids will learn how each paint behaves while creating colorful, expressive artworks. This class is designed to build confidence, creativity, and technical skills in a fun, supportive environment. Perfect for young artists who love to experiment and see their ideas come to life in vibrant color! Bring your curiosity—we’ll provide the paints, brushes, and plenty of room to create.
