Join us for hand-building small ceramic catchall dishes and plates that are as functional as they are beautiful. Think little dishes for your rings and jewelry, or a charming little plate for snacks and treats! You’ll have the freedom to design your pieces to fit your style, experimenting with shapes, textures, and decorative details. Using simple hand-building techniques, we’ll shape slabs of clay into unique dishes and then use carving tools and/or underglazes to paint them, adding personality and flair to every piece. Whether you’re making something useful for your home or a thoughtful handmade gift, you’ll leave with pieces that are uniquely yours! No previous experience with clay is required, but this class is open to people of all skill levels. These pieces can be as simple or elaborate as you would like. The basic skills will be taught, but everyone will enjoy a creative morning in the studio, no matter where your skills are! All the materials will be provided! This class will be taught by the lovely Sara White! Teton Arts Members: Don't forget to enter your member discount code at checkout for this class!
