About This Activity
We will be using hand-building techniques to create a wall hanging that could be simply decorative or used for holding keys, mail, plants, a cell phone charging station, dried flowers, small tools, paintbrushes, or whatever you might dream up! This is a versatile & fun project that you can put your own creative spin on! For this workshop we will be using slab techniques to create a "pocket", then creating a hole in the back so it can be hung from a nail or other wall anchor. No previous experience with clay is required, but this class is open to people of all skill levels. These pieces can be as simple or elaborate as you would like. The basic skills will be taught, but everyone will enjoy a creative morning in the studio, no matter where your skills are! All the materials will be provided!
