About This Activity
*Due to varying school release times, drop-off is flexible starting at 3:30 PM. Students will have free creative time until the full class begins. Please try to arrive no later than 4:15* NO class November 25. If you need free art van pickup from DES or RUES, please select that session option when registering. Get ready to stick, build, and sculpt like never before! In Hot Glue Creations, students will explore the creative possibilities of hot glue as both a tool and a medium. Over six weeks, we’ll use low-temp hot glue guns (perfect for young artists) to create 2D and 3D works of art—including textured paintings, abstract sculptures, wearable art, and mixed-media masterpieces. Each class introduces new techniques that combine hot glue with materials like cardboard, fabric, foil, paint, and more. Students will learn to safely and confidently handle glue guns while expressing their ideas through hands-on, imaginative projects.
