Kurinuki is the traditional Japanese method of carving from a single block of clay. Try this satisfying and beginner-friendly technique while spending a nice morning in the pottery studio. You will make matching cups with beautiful texture, we will fire and glaze them for you. Previous experience with clay not necessary for this workshop. Participants will be provided with the clay and tools necessary to hand build your own projects! Finished pieces can be picked up two to three weeks after the class is finished.
