Daily Classes - Monday to Friday NO CLASS ON JUNE 19, 2025 Step into the world of clay and ceramics in this exciting 9-day hands-on camp! Middle school artists will explore both sculptural and functional pottery techniques, mastering the art of shaping clay and designing ceramic pieces that are both creative and useful. Throughout the camp, students will: 🎨 Master Clay Techniques – Learn slab, coil, and pinch pot methods to create original decorative sculptures. 🏺 Create Functional Ceramics – Customize pre-made ceramic forms like mugs, bowls, and plates to craft everyday items. 🖌 Glaze & Design – Use kiln-fired ceramic glazes (not acrylic paint) to add color, texture, and detail. 🔥 Fire & Finish – Projects will be professionally fired in a kiln, making them durable and ready for use. This camp is perfect for creative students who love working with their hands, experimenting with different techniques, and making both artistic and functional pieces. By the end of the session, participants will have a collection of sculptural clay projects and fully usable ceramic creations to take home! 📌 Materials Provided: All clay, pre-made ceramics, glazes, and tools. 📌 Finished Projects: Students will take home a variety of kiln-fired, hand-painted pieces.
