Daily Classes - Monday to Friday NO CLASS ON JUNE 19, 2025 Get ready to squish, roll, pinch, and shape your way through this exciting 9-day clay and ceramics camp! Young artists will explore the fundamentals of working with clay, learning techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch pot construction to create beautifully decorative pieces. In addition, they will use pre-made ceramic forms to design and personalize functional items like mugs, plates, and bowls. Throughout the camp, students will: 🎨 Experiment with Clay – Learn essential hand-building techniques to shape and sculpt unique decorative pieces. 🏺 Create Functional Ceramics – Design and customize pre-made ceramic forms to craft everyday items like plates and cups. 🖌 Paint with Kiln-Fired Glazes – Apply special ceramic glazes (not acrylic paint) to add color and detail before firing. 🔥 Fire & Finish – Projects will be professionally fired in a kiln, making them durable and ready for use. This camp is perfect for young creators who love to get their hands messy, explore their creativity, and craft both artistic and functional pieces. By the end of the 9 days, students will have a collection of decorative clay art and fully functional ceramic pieces to take home! 📌 Materials Provided: All clay, pre-made ceramics, glazes, and tools are included. 📌 Take-Home Pieces: Each student will leave with several finished, fired, and painted projects.
