10 sessions x 60 minutes Tuesday - Aug 26 | Sept 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 | Oct 7, 21 | Nov 4, 18 In this creative writing course, young writers journey through California’s amazing landscapes—from redwoods to tide pools—while building core writing skills. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive discussions, students explore descriptive writing, storytelling, poetry, persuasive, and informational writing. Each session includes fun, nature-themed projects that spark creativity, boost confidence, and improve writing fluency. By the end of the course, students will have a personal collection of written work and a deeper appreciation for nature.
