About This Activity
June 9th to July 13th - 5 days (8 hours) Instructor: Mr Nick Zarcone, Fallon Middle School Teacher Whether you are a skilled player with years of experience or brand new to the game, this course is for you. Attending this class will help improve each player’s fundamentals. The program will teach the game of basketball and make it fun at the same time. We begin each day with our foundational station work with individual attention given to each player. Students will be taught the proper offensive techniques of shooting, dribbling, and passing. This course will also emphasize the defensive skills of a proper stance, footwork, positioning, and rebounding. Additionally, players will learn offensive and defensive set pieces. As the course progresses, we will divide into groups based on skill level and play enjoyable and competitive games and crown a champion. We will make this an enjoyable experience where teamwork, character, and a positive attitude are emphasized.
