About This Activity
We’re excited to introduce our Minecraft Game Design & Coding Camp, where kids learn to code while building and playing in Minecraft! In this hands-on program, students use Minecraft Education Edition along with simple block-based coding (drag-and-drop) to create structures, solve challenges, and design their own mini games. ✨ What kids will learn: Basics of coding (step-by-step instructions, loops, and logic) Game design and creative building Problem-solving and critical thinking Collaboration and teamwork 🎯 What makes this class special: Kids learn coding in a fun, familiar environment No prior coding experience needed Project-based learning with their own creations Encourages creativity, confidence, and curiosity 💻 Prerequisite: Students should bring a laptop with Minecraft Education Edition installed This allows them to continue learning and practicing even after the camp end. By the end of the camp, students will have built their own Minecraft world or game and will understand the fundamentals of coding in a fun and engaging way. 👉 From playing Minecraft → to creating with Minecraft!
