10 sessions x 1 hour Friday - March 20, 27 | Apr 3, 17, 24 | May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 This spring-themed cooking class invites young chefs to explore fresh, seasonal ingredients while building confidence and creativity in the kitchen. Students will learn basic cooking skills such as measuring, mixing, slicing safe-to-cut produce (using age-appropriate tools), and following simple recipes. The lesson emphasizes hands-on participation, teamwork, and sensory exploration, encouraging children to smell, touch, and taste ingredients as they discover how food changes through preparation. Throughout the class, students will prepare a colorful spring-inspired dish such as Berry Parfaits, Yummy salads, and Fruit Pizzas highlighting seasonal produce and healthy food choices. The instructor will guide students in understanding where spring foods come from, why certain fruits and vegetables are in season, and how fresh ingredients support wellness. $30 materials fee included in Tuition.
