About This Activity
Advisor: Madame Laquidara Email: Kira.laquidara@basisindependent.com Journalism Club assists students by developing strong writing, research, and communication skills while exploring current events and stories that matter to their school and community. Students learn how to research topics, write engaging articles, edit their work, and present information clearly and effectively for a variety of audiences. As the club grows, students have the opportunity to take on leadership roles, including Editor-in-Chief, Section Editor, and Staff Writer, fostering collaboration, responsibility, and confidence.
