Advisor: Jyothi Kiran Gurram Email: jyothivara@gmail.com Science Olympiad is a competitive STEM program for students in grades 5–8 that challenges participants across a wide range of scientific disciplines. Students engage in both written assessments and hands-on engineering events covering topics such as physics, chemistry, anatomy, and space science, as well as building and testing devices like hovercrafts, helicopters, and scrambler cars. Team selection is based on tryout results, and students are assigned to focus on 2–4 events each, allowing them to develop depth of knowledge and teamwork in their selected areas while building problem-solving and engineering skills.
