Each session focuses on using the five senses and vivid vocabulary to help students better understand what they read and bring their own writing to life. With age-appropriate mentor texts, writing journals, and fun hands-on activities like verb charades, sensory stations, and draw-and-write prompts, students will learn how to describe characters, settings, and actions in a clear and creative way. They’ll also strengthen their listening and speaking skills by sharing ideas, acting out scenes, and discussing stories as a group. The program concludes with a special celebration where students share their work with peers and reflect on their growth as writers in a supportive and engaging environment.
