9 sessions x 67 minutes Wednesday - Mar 18, 25 | April 15, 22, 29 | May 6, 13, 20, 27 In this engaging reading and writing enrichment program, students in grades 1–5 explore the building blocks of great storytelling while strengthening essential literacy skills that support success in school and beyond. Through guided read-alouds, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities, students learn how characters, settings, plots, and themes bring stories to life. Students build reading comprehension and writing confidence as they plan, draft, revise, and edit their own original stories. Collaboration and sharing encourage creativity, communication skills, and a supportive learning environment where every student can grow as a young author. This program helps students develop lasting skills such as stronger vocabulary, clearer written expression, improved organization of ideas, and greater confidence in reading, writing, and classroom participation. By the end of the course, students leave with new skills, increased confidence, and pride in their own creative voice.
