Tuesday - Nov 17 | Dec 1, 8, 15 | Jan 5, 12, 19, 26 | Feb 2, 9 10 sessions x 90 Minutes Calling all curious creators, imaginative inventors, and future engineers! Discover the exciting world of electronics through hands-on experiments, creative building, and engaging engineering challenges! In Creative Electronics, students explore how electricity flows, how circuits work, and how electronic components such as LEDs, motors, buzzers, switches, and batteries work together to power the devices we use every day. Throughout the program, students will move beyond simply learning about electronics—they will become young engineers who design, build, test, troubleshoot, and improve their own working inventions. From illuminating LEDs and spinning motors to sound-producing devices and touch-free magnetic switches, every lesson introduces a new concept through an exciting, practical challenge. Each unit ends with a unique take-home project that students design, personalize, and proudly share with family and friends. Along the way, they will strengthen their creativity, problem-solving skills, perseverance, fine-motor skills, and confidence as young inventors. Our Adventure Map: Introduction to Electronics – Explore circuits, electrical components, conductors, insulators, and illuminating first builds. Circuit Foundations – Investigate series and parallel circuits, experiment with switches, and create custom light-up inventions. Motors in Motion – Discover how electrical energy creates movement through motors, fans, and motion-powered creations. The Science of Sound – Explore how electronic components produce sound while building buzzers, alarms, and other audio-based projects. Magnetic Switches – Experiment with magnetism and engineer fascinating touch-free circuits activated by invisible magnetic forces. Green Power Circuits – Harness energy from the sun to build solar-powered projects while exploring sustainable electronics and renewable energy.
