About This Activity

Spectrum's Teen Saturday Social Club provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for teens on the autism spectrum, ages 12–18, to build friendships, strengthen social skills, and enjoy engaging activities with their peers. Participants must be enrolled in middle or high school, have independent self-help skills, and be able to participate with minimal supervision. The program maintains a staffing ratio of 3 professional staff members for up to 25 participants. Teens enjoy a variety of activities, including board games, group video games, karaoke, movies, and opportunities to socialize and connect with friends. The program is managed by Spectrum Autism Support Group, under the oversight of Kim Renfroe, and supervised by professional staff who facilitate activities, encourage positive social interactions, and support friendship-building.
