About This Activity
Get ready for five action-packed days of outdoor adventure! Outdoor Duluth Camp is designed for youth ages 9–14 who love being active, trying new things, and exploring the outdoors. Each day blends fun, movement, and skill-building through a variety of outdoor activities in a supportive and encouraging environment. Campers will paddle local waterways in canoes and stand-up paddleboards, explore trails on hiking adventures, and learn some first-aid skills that build confidence, awareness, and leadership. We may even sneak in a little bit of rock climbing! Along the way, campers develop teamwork and problem-solving skills and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors—no prior experience or equipment required. Due to the travel required for this camp, campers must be dropped off by 9 am and will return to campus at 3:30 pm. Late arrivals or early departures are not possible. Each camper will need to bring a backpack, water bottle, lunch, snacks, sturdy shoes, water shoes (old tennis shoes work), swimsuits, a towel, and a sun shirt/rash guard (recommended).
