About This Activity
The Musical Theatre program is open to students who have finished grades 5-12. While at this week long camp, campers learn about the various aspects of presenting a successful show: acting, singing, movement techniques, stage combat, as well as how to serve as chorus members, dancers, and lead characters. Campers prepare scenes from different musicals to perform at the end of the week. Campers who have completed grades 9-12 experience a more intense and involved program. The professional teaching faculty focus on all the essential elements of a successful musical production and participants have a well-rounded acting experience. A $20 music fee is included in the registration fee to cover the purchase and printing of camper music. Music can be brought home at the end of the week.
