About This Activity

Camp Description

Our Mission: is to nurture the spiritual, physical, social, emotional and creative growth of children in our community through a quality camp experience. Our Vision: is that Camp Unite will provide a spiritually, physically and emotionally safe environment for children to investigate and experience the love of God through a variety of camp activities. Camp Unite is a place where parents feel safe leaving their kids. Camp activities will be designed to be educational and fun so children will be excited about playing and learning. Campers will establish lifelong friendships and memories and leave camp with a positive experience with DBC. Specialty Options S.T.E.M. The EXTREME STEM Camp is an engaging education experience for students grades 2-6. Explore a diverse range of scientific themes and robotics with each day offering different hands-on activities. This camp allows your child to use creativity, problem-solving and discovery, making a STEM memorable experience. The first day campers will get their “hand onto chemical reactions” with colorful fizzy experiments and gooey slime action. Day 2 will be a “blast into space” where campers can simulate space missions and get a taste of what it is like to be an astronaut. Get ready to move into the future in days 3 and 4 with robotics. Build your own robot to take home as well as work on Lego Prime robotics. Finally the finale will be a day with H20 as campers will investigate the properties of water. Expect a day of surprises, splashes, and deeper appreciation for our more important substance on Earth. Instructor Sherrill Weihe and assistant Gordon Gita
