About This Activity
Mini-Medical School & Foodie Tour for Teens is a multi-day summer experience designed for middle school students and hosted by Duke School and StartUp High. This program introduces students to the medical field through hands-on learning, visits to local healthcare facilities, and interactions with medical professionals. Students will build communication skills used in doctor–patient interactions, develop confidence and resilience through rejection therapy, and explore a variety of healthcare career paths. The experience also includes sampling food from local restaurants.
