Our half day program is for younger children 6 and 7. Children are welcome to stay through lunch period, 12:30 to 1:00 or be picked up at 12:30. A unique model for teaching and learning that is designed to engage the body and senses, inspire the mind, awaken curiosity, develop confidence, create community and connect with nature. Our teaching philosophy is inspired by Coyote's Guide To Connecting With Nature by Ellen Haas, Evan McGown, and Jon Young. Unique outdoor learning experiences in a small group setting. Our Tuesday Homeschool in the Wild group is kept intentionally small (10 to 20 kids per season). Weekly gatherings include stories, games and adventures in life science and wilderness skills community building, leadership and inspired learning following a course of study that builds week to week. There will be no homeschool on October 27th or November 24th; please mark your calendars accordingly!
