Description
HOME ALONE, STAYING SAFE AGES 9-11 'Home Alone Staying Safe' prepares 9-11 year olds for situations that can happen when staying home alone, from the unexpected knock on the door to the 911 emergency phone call. This program taught by health educators from South Shore Safety, covers safety to and from school, phone and food safety, first-aid, choking prevention, Heimlich maneuver and street smarts awareness. Please have your child bring SNACK(s) AND DRINK(S) with them to class.
INSTRUCTOR: BETTE ANTONELLIS is a licensed practical nurse and a health educator for the Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth Hospital. She teaches a variety of health education classes throughout the community. INSTRUCTOR: DENISE LAIOSA is a health educator and 5th degree black belt in karate. She has taught safety and self-defense classes in medical, corporate, schools, recreation centers and shelters. Denise also teaches karate classes for kids, teens and adults at her studio in Norwell.Location
