About This Activity
Description
This 30 minute “dance with me” style class is designed for dancers ages 1-3 to attend class with a parent or caregiver. Perfect for the child who still needs a little more time before separating from the parent or caregiver. Parents or caregivers participate actively in the class as children learn basic dance steps and terminology through songs, stories, and play. Clothes that are comfortable to move in are required for this class. Footwear for children could be ballet shoes, grippy socks, or bare feet to reduce slips and falls. Parents should remove any dirty shoes for class to avoid bringing dirt to the dance studio floor.
