Description
Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style combines ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary. The style is usually danced at a faster pace than ballet but not as fast as jazz. Dress Code: Dance wear or athletic wear that is comfortable and easy to move in is required for this class. Shoes will not be worn in this class; dancers will be completely barefoot. Dance socks must be approved by the instructor and must be a brand such as Capezio, Bloch, Apolla, or a dance sock with proper support.
