Description
Preschool Combo Class | Ages 3–4This 30-minute class is designed especially for dancers ages 3–4 as an introduction to the fun and excitement of dance! Parents do not participate in this class, allowing dancers to begin building independence and confidence in the classroom.
Dancers will be introduced to ballet, tap, and jazz technique and terminology through age-appropriate songs, games, books, creative movement, and props. Class activities are designed to help develop coordination, motor skills, musicality, social skills, classroom independence, and confidence while encouraging a love of dance!
Dress Code & Shoes: Dancers should wear dancewear or athletic clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in. Ballet shoes and tap shoes are required. Jazz shoes are optional, as jazz steps will be practiced in ballet shoes to help reduce costs for families with quickly growing little feet!
Dance Bag Required: Please send your dancer to every class with a closeable dance bag labeled with their name. Ballet shoes, tap shoes, and personal belongings should be kept inside the bag when they are not being used. Having one designated bag helps dancers learn to take care of their belongings and helps our teachers keep track of everyone's shoes and items throughout class.
