Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us each month to develop the natural outdoor leaders in your through leadership and outdoor skills workshops. Spend time outdoors and enjoying Juniper Knoll while helping to improve and restore areas all around camp. Whether you have been to camp before or not this is a great opportunity to gather your friends, family, troop, or company to volunteer and work on a variety of service projects. Projects will vary and may include clearing trails, spreading woodchips, cleaning buildings or equipment, moving and stacking firewood, painting, building simple camp projects and more. Be prepared to work hard alongside the property team to make a positive difference at our camp for our entire camp and Girl Scout community. Time commitment depends on what works best for you, please commit to being at camp for at least four hours to volunteer. You can choose to spend the whole weekend at camp or just part of it. Participants can choose to sleep over just Friday, just Saturday, or both nights. This a leadership development opportunity. This program is designed for individual Girl Scouts; prior PA or CIT experience is not required. Attendance is not required at every monthly meeting in order to participate in this event.
