About This Activity
Registration for this program closes at midnight on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Learn what it takes to survive in the wilderness! Spend the week learning different methods of purifying water, what kind of supplies to bring and how to pack them, and how to protect the environment using the Leave No Trace principles. Put these skills into practice during an overnight backpacking trip on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Backcountry Level 2 Prerequisite: Level 1 program or prior camping experience recommended. Campers will tentatively be sleeping in Wilderness Platform Tents. Camper check-in is Sunday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. and check-out is Friday at 3:00 p.m. Campers will tentatively be sleeping in Clippership Platform Tents Camper Kits, Mess Kits, and More! Get ready for camp!
