About This Activity
Registration for this program closes at midnight on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Jump in for a kayaking adventure! Warm up your paddling on Pleasant Lake, then climb into the seat of your kayak as you practice river safety and navigation on a three-day, two-night trip down the Wisconsin River, camping on sandbars along the way. Backcountry Level 3 Prerequisite: Level 1 or 2 program or previous camping experience required. Must be comfortable in deep water, able to tread water for 2 minutes, and swim 50 yards without stopping. Campers will tentatively be sleeping in Citadel Platform Tents. Camper check-in is Sunday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. and check-out is Friday at 3:00 p.m. Camper Kits, Mess Kits, and More! Get ready for camp! Visit our council shop for more Girl Scout swag.
