Registration for this program closes at midnight on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Love to discover the world around you? Dive into the wonders of the outdoors as you explore the natural world, engage in eco-friendly activities, and discover what wildlife call camp their home. Then give your camping skills a boost as you learn trail hiking safety, discover different ways to purify water, and connect with nature on an off-site day hike where you will learn about Leave No Trace and how to navigate in the woods. You will also visit a local nature center and get some hands-on experience with the animals that live there. One night, choose with your fellow campers whether to spend a night outdoors in hammocks, pop-up tents, or under the stars. Backcountry Level 1 Campers will tentatively be sleeping in Chalet Tabins. Camper check-in is Sunday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. and check-out is Friday at 3:00 p.m. Camper Kits, Mess Kits, and More! Get ready for camp! Visit our council shop for more Girl Scout swag. Financial Assistance is available for this program. Details for how to apply can be found in the registration forms as you complete your registration.
