About This Activity
Description
Learn about doing fiber arts with Katie. Katie will teach the basics of crocheting. From choosing yarn, starting a project, changing colors, casting off a finished piece and weaving in the ends, there are a lot of small steps in creating any handmade piece. Katie will be there to help give tips and tricks to each student. Crocheting is very popular for making small stuffed animals, hats and clothing. Each student can work at their own pace and move onto additional projects if they have time. All materials will be provided. For ages 8-13. Thursdays, October 22, 29 & Nov 5. 3:30-4:30pm in the Orcas Senior Center Living Room.
