About This Activity
Get ready for an exciting week of creativity! Young artists will dive into a variety of fun and imaginative projects, from creating an African safari scene to drawing a beloved cartoon hedgehog and a majestic horse by the beach. Students will bring movement to life as they sketch a cheetah racing across the savannah and explore cartooning a spunky, street-smart cat. This week will also feature “Fish Bowl” by Henri Matisse! Students will build their skills with exciting techniques, including chalk pastels, as they create a colorful triceratops and more. By Friday, each artist will complete at least 8 unique pieces and take home their artwork in a special portfolio to share and celebrate! Students will build on their drawing skills while also learning coloring techniques, blending, and color harmony using a variety of art mediums. Your child will have a blast and feel a great sense of accomplishment when they take home their own portfolio of artwork at the end of the week! Lessons change every week, register for one week or multiple weeks! Summer Camp Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before May 1st are fully refundable. Cancellations from May 1st - July 5th will receive a refund, less a $30 processing fee. Cancellations after July 5th are non-refundable. Make-up classes are not provided in the event your child is absent. Our summer camp will focus on the fundamentals of drawing and coloring using a wide variety of mediums.
