Description
Make new friends and discover the basics of two lifelong outdoor activities while schools are closed for Spring Break! Our highly-trained instructors cover target archery technique and the basis of freshwater fishing. No experience necessary and all equipment and bait provided. Bring a non-perishable lunch and snack. Detailed info will be sent to the email of the participant about a week prior to the program – check your registration to be sure you get it! Prompt drop off and pickup of child(ren) at recreational programs is mandatory. A parent/guardian must sign the child in/out and photo ID required at pickup. Program will start and end in Centennial Park; van transportation in HCRP 15-passenger vans may be used to move between activity locations.No experience necessary and all equipment provided for use during the program. Participants may bring their own archery or fishing equipment (no fly rods) pending approval by the instructor on site.
This program can meet the Intro requirement for future HCRP Target Archery programs – you do NOT have to wait to sign up for the Archery Club or Open Range but you must COMPLETE the Intro class BEFORE the start date of your Archery Club section or before using HCRP Equipment during Open Range time.
