The Ellington Youth Cross Country season is fast approaching; a chance to spend time running on the trails in and around our town, up and down rocky and sometimes muddy terrain, climbing yup hills, navigating our way back down at distances up to 3.5 miles per session, breathing clean fresh air and getting the best exercise you can imagine to build running strength and durability for any sport. Supervision volunteer coach Mike Dolen along with his team of assistant parent coaches. We put fun in the run; no one left behind, but everyone expected to put in their best effort. Running locations are announced in advance via email and they will be held
Wednesdays 5:15pm-6:30pm
Saturdays, 9:15am - 10:30am.
Soapstone , Shenipset Forest, Connecticut Blue Trails on either side of Gulf Road, or even Valley Falls Park . Come learn some fundamentals of good health and exercise.
