Description
2025 Ellington (Travel/Competitive) Soccer Tryouts
Only those that want to play at our most competitive levels should attend tryouts, all other players that register and do not attend will automatically be places on an age-appropriate recreational level soccer team.
- Players born in 2017 who want to play competitively must attend the one-day evaluation. ALL players must register before attending.
- Competitive teams will be organized by birth year, if there are not enough players in a particular birth year category, birth years may be merged in order to create a viable team.
- Players born in 2014, 2015, and 2016 that tryout must attend 2 of the 3 tryouts dates. There are no tryouts scheduled for players born in 2013. If a tryout is needed it will be scheduled at a later date.

Children are required to wear shin guards and proper foot attire. Parent Volunteers are needed to help with Coaching the program Please contact the Recreation Department email: recreationstaff@ellington-ct.gov
