About This Activity
Writing your personal stories or memoir can sometimes feel daunting. With a micro memoir, writers will use short prompts to generate tightly focused narratives. In just 500 - 750 words, writers can convey compelling memories and use these short entries to begin to outline a larger project. Make-up date, if needed 4/02/2026. Instructor Rebecca Alley has loved to write and share stories for as long as she can remember. She received her Bachelor's in Creative Writing from Dalhousie University and currently works as a reporter for the Mount Desert Islander.
