Are you in somewhat decent shape, but worried about aging gracefully and with mobility so you can continue doing all the things you’re currently doing physically, even improving your current situation so your body is able to “keep on keeping up” as you get older? That is the focus of this class. The class will be based on classical Pilates exercises, which helps strengthen our traditionally weaker muscles to create balance in our bodies. We will likely also integrate a few things from other disciplines such as yoga. The goal is to not only maintain but improve strength, flexibility and agility, balance and stability, as well as posture and mobility, always with an eye to keeping ourselves active and physically independent for the years to come.
